Cancel premium hosting

  Can I cancel my premium purchase? I thought it would allow plugins and give me access to third party themes in theme search like I have in godaddy hosting, but it didn’t. I will probably transfer my domain in the future..
  For now I just want to go back to free hosting.

  Is wordpress.com set up to be more of a social media site? It seems like it lacks a lot of the tools I get using WP on third party sites..
