Cancel Premium Plan but Keep Domain and Get Partially Refunded

Hello! I’m experiencing issues with the 30-day refund policy for my premium plan.

On September 11th, I purchased the premium plan. With this plan, I received one free custom domain, and purchased another domain for $26. I realized I would like to use Squarespace instead.

I then remapped my mellogs.me domain to Squarespace. I then went to cancel my premium upgrade for a partial refund (because I would like to keep the domains) however, was told that my purchase was made “too long ago” to qualify for the 30-day refund policy, and cannot be refunded.

Is it possible to be partially refunded for the plan but keep the domains?

Additionally, once I have cancelled my premium upgrade, will anything happen to my domains which are now mapped to Squarespace?

  • Hi there,

I have cancelled your premium upgrades minus the custom domain subscriptions, which is a difference of $73. The refund should reflect on your bank statement within 7-10 business days.

Now, you still have melanieamandaho.com and mellogs.me with us. and they should not have been affected by the cancellation and refund of your premium upgrade.

Please let me know if you have any questions or issues.

    Thanks!

I am experiencing a similar issue. I would like a cancellation of the premium upgrade, keep the domain, and receive a partial refund. I submitted the request, but am left in suspense. I have not yet received a confirmation email and there are no notes on my upgrades page indicating that my request was submitted.

May I have some help with this cancellation?

    Thank you.
