cancel private registration does not work

  I am trying to transfer my domain to another registrar. According to the WordPress.com instructions here:

  Transfer a Domain to Another Registrar

  I need to first cancel private registration. I’ve followed the steps to do this but it doesn’t work, instead i get the message;

  “There was a problem removing the Private Registration upgrade from your domain. Please try again or contact support if the issue continues.”

  I’ve tried again, so I now contacting you.

  Just to clarify, you are looking to cancel private registration on televisionsproject.org, correct?

  Hi,

  ICANN rules prohibit transferring a newly registered domain for 60 from the date of registration. I can cancel the Domain Privacy for you, but you will not be able to transfer the domain for another 50 days or so.
