cancel private registration so i can transfer domain

  I was given a transfer number but then it was denied. the email stated I had to cancel private registration. How do I do that? And once I do that will I need a new transfer code?

  Hi there,

  You should be able to go to your domain settings under the WordPress.com dashboard and Toggle the privacy protection off:

  

  Click that button to disable privacy and that should allow you to proceed with the transfer.
