Cancel Refund Domain Registration

  Hello, I am looking to get a refund for the domain registration. This was completed by accident and I am looking for hosting only. Therefore, I am looking to get a refund on the domain transfer. I read that it is within the 96 hour deadline so I am hoping this can be resolved quickly. Thank you!

  Can you explain more clearly what your intentions are. That domain wasn’t registered here at WordPress.com. If you wish to use it with a site here you do need a paid plan so the domain can be either mapped or transferred to a wordpress.com site.

  Registrar:NameCheap, Inc.
  Name Servers:
  dns1.registrar-servers.com
  dns2.registrar-servers.com

  If you don’t wish to build a site at WordPress.com with that domain then you can request a refund for a plan at “manage purchases”. However this thread has been tagged for staff assistance.

  Taelor we aren’t able to process a refund while the payment is disputed. Can you lift that?

  Also the domain transfer refund policy is a bit different, but if you didn’t actually transfer the domain, we can refund that once the dispute is cleared.
