  I got an email saying I had to renew a website linked to this account. However there the website that was being renewed was not linked to this account.

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi Liz,

  The account that is owns the site is not registered to the email address which was notified of the renewal and I do not have access to that account for some reason even though I did create it.

  We won’t be able to help with the cancellation until we can verify that you have access to the account. If you paid for the domain or upgrade you’d be able to recover it through a transaction ID.

  Hi Liz,

  I tried to recover access to the account through the transaction ID, however the receipt number doesnt work. The receipt also indicates that it was paid for through paypal, however the payment was not made through paypal.

  If an invoice was sent to my email address does this not mean that I should be able to access the account by logging in using my email address?

  I also tried to reset the password for the account and I checked every email account I have owned and there was no reset password email.
