Cancel site. It does not work from Tool > Delete Site

I want to cancel my site. I cancelled my upgrade but now it does not work to cancel it from Tool > Delete Site

You still have a Domain Registration upgrade on your site, and this is why the Delete Site tool is not working.

To delete your site with a custom domain upgrade, you will need to do one of the following:

– Move the domain upgrade to another WordPress.com site
– Transfer the domain registration to another domain registrar
– Fully cancel the domain (you will lose the ownership of the domain and there is no guarantee you can register it again)

After the custom domain is unlinked from your site, the site deletion tool you were using will be able to permanently remove the site.

Please make sure to read the warnings and advice before deleting a site. We can’t revert the deletion of a site for any reason.

Thanks for you answer.

I would like to proceed with fully cancel the domain. I am not able to do it through the page My Domains.

Can you do that for me or can you indicate me precisely which are the steps?

I’ve fully cancelled the domain for you. You can now delete the site following these steps:

Or you can keep the free site, and just set it to private:
