  I’m getting a ton of spam emails from wordpress, please cancel this account and delete the email.

  Hi there,

  Look at the addresses the emails are coming from. If they’re from wordpress@ addresses with a random domain after the @, they’re not from us. Emails from us will only ever come from a @wordpress.com address. The domain after the @ tells you where an email originates, not the text before the @.
