Hi there,
I see that you were able to cancel the upgrade successfully. Please note that it takes 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement.

Thank you! Have a question, why doesn’t my adsense not working on my site https://famousandbluedotcom.wordpress.com/ ?

Advertisements, including those from third-party advertising networks like Google AdSense, are not allowed on WordPress.com.
We do have an advertising program called WordAds, which you can read more about here:
For more information on what is and is not allowed in regards to advertising, please visit our support doc:

Sure about that? So how come this..? really confusing http://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-add-google-adsense-to-your-wordpress-site/

Wpbeginenner’s article applies to self-hosted WordPress sites.
Your site is hosted on WordPress.com and has several differences with the self-hosted solution. You can read more here: -
Sure about that?
Yep. =)
That wpbeginner link is referring to self-installed, self-hosted WordPress.ORG blogs, not WordPress.COM blogs. I agree it is confusing because the article never explicitly states that they are referring to self-hosted blogs. However, what gives it away is:
For better placement control and tracking, we recommend that you check out OIO Publisher or AdSanity WordPress plugin. (See: Best Ad Management WordPress solutions)
You can’t install plugins on WordPress.com. Also, I just know because…using adsense violates our Terms of Service. Check out our User Guidelines for more information:
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two, different entities, but the essential difference is that we don’t have access to all WordPress sites, only ones hosted on our WordPress.com servers. For more information, please see:
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!
