Cancel Upgrade

I need to cancel my upgrade, however when I tried to do this tonight I received an error message saying ‘This upgrade cannot be cancelled’.
Can you please look into this? I am within the cancellation period so would like a refund too.

What is the domain URL please?
Exactly which username account purchased the upgrade?
Exactly which underlying .wordpress.COM blog was the upgrade purchased for?
WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.
The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours. https://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades
Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.
Provided you are logged in under the exact same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades. http://en.support.wordpress.com/my-upgrades/#canceling-upgrades

It looks like a refund has been processed for this transaction. I will assume that the issue is resolved unless I hear otherwise from you.

I too am having issues with canceling my upgrade. I have gone through the steps in my “manage purchases” and I have received the email, followed through with that, but it tells me that it can’t be done and to contact support.
What do I need to do?

Can you be more specific? What upgrade are you trying to cancel and for which site?

I can absolutely help you with that.
Just to clarify, if you want to cancel your domain writehandedwords.com it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and it may not choose to do so. We can’t guarantee that your domain will ever be available to you again once canceled. If you have any intention of using writehandedwords.com again in the future, I suggest that you do not choose to cancel.
Please confirm that you understand and want to cancel your domain. Once you have done so, I will cancel it and remove the upgrade from your account.

Hi rootjosh. I do not want to cancel my domain, I would like to keep that. I think it is $26 (correct?) I wanted to cancel the premium subscription!
It looks like the premium has been taken off of my account – but I just received a receipt for $99 for the upgrade that my account automatically renewed.
To clarify – I DO want the domain, I DO NOT want the premium upgrade.
I was charged for the upgrade as of today (1-16-16) for 99.
