Cancel Word Ads?

  Hi,
  I signed up for Word Ads for my free blog on wordpress.com (heartofflesh.home.blog), before I realized that I cannot control or earn anything from the ads on a free site. Now the ads appear on my site, but I’m not receiving any of the benefits. Is it possible to cancel word ads? I understand wordpress will still advertise, but my site is covered in advertisements in which I earn nothing.
