  I want to buy a domain name and website plan for a particular event, but to cancel it after one year. Is this possible?

  Hi,

  Yes, that is possible. All plans and domains are based on a yearly subscription.

  All accounts have auto renewal option turned on so to avoid being charged again when your yearly subscription ends, you should turn auto renewal off.
  You can do that for your domain name or plan by choosing the option to cancel on the Purchase page.
