Cancelation of site

  Hi,
  I have just cancelled my subscription, a month in advance of the renewal. I assume I won´t be charged for the renewal, but it is unclear and not stated anywhere, I was just surprised to see the site would be cancelled by Oct 24, not by Sep.

  Hi there!

  Your actual upgrade period was from October 25 2020 to October 24 2021. Since this was a domain registration, those are renewed 30 days in advance to ensure there’s no loss of your custom domain name. Doing this ensures that everything is taken care of in advance and allows time to resolve any issues with payment.

  That’s why your domain will expire on October 24th. :)

  NOTE: It can be difficult to get a domain back after you have cancelled it. You should only cancel a domain if you are sure you no longer want it and are okay with the potential of someone else registering and using it. Once a domain is cancelled, it may go through the same redemption process as expired domains, and might incur a redemption fee ($80) if you want to restore it later.
