Canceled domain

  I canceled by domain that I purchased through WordPress, but when I type in the domain name, the website still comes up. How do I completely get rid of it so it doesn’t exist?!

  I have a new domain name that is very similar, and I don’t want people to see the old website and think it’s my current one. Help!!
