Canceled domain

  Hello,
  I canceled my account a few days ago and i was just wondering if/when my domain (lybicucurullo.com) will be available for me to use elsewhere?
  Thank you!

  Warning: after cancellation, there is no guarantee the domain will become available to register somewhere else, and you may not be able to get it back. Keep in mind that you do have the option to keep the domain at WordPress.com, and use it elsewhere

  Hi there,

  Cancelled domains are not released immediately, and it can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available again, if at all. You should never cancel a domain that you still want to use, as there’s no guarantee that you’ll be able to use it again somewhere else in future. Only cancel a domain if you’re completely sure you no longer want it at all.

  In this case it looks like your domain might have been released already, as we no longer have control over it. So try searching for it again at the provider where you want to use it.

  If someone else has bought it since its release the only way to get it back would be to buy it directly from the new owner.
