  help I cancel our domain and now I cant add it onto another site? Why is this happening? I need this resolved asap!

  Hi there,

  Once you cancel a domain, you no longer own it and won’t be able to use it anywhere until it is released again by the registry. It can take anything from a few days to over a year before a cancelled domain becomes available for registration again, if at all.

  Are you speaking of advancedmedfargo.com?

  That domain has entered redemption since you cancelled it. We are still able to get it back at this point, but we have to pay the registry a $80 fee to restore a domain from redemption, so I’ll need you to agree to that so that we can start the process.

  Additionally you don’t currently have any sites in your account. We’ll either need to restore the site you deleted, advancedmedfargo.wordpress.com, or you’ll need to create a new free site in your account so that we can restore the domain to it. It’s not possible to have a domain active in your WordPress.com account without the domain being connected to a WordPress.com site.
