Canceled plan extension, but existing plan was canceled as well.

    Hello,

    I have purchased a one-year Personal Plan, and later accepted an offer to extend it for additional years.

    I have decided to cancel the extension, but upon doing so, the first subcription was canceled as well. I have reverted back to a Free plan, despite the fact that the initial one-year subscription should still be active.

    Please let me know what I can do to remedy this situation. Thank you.

    Hello,

    Is there any way to contact staff directly? I would like to resolve this as soon as possible, as I must decide whether to commit to an immediate migration to .org.

    Either solution would be fine:

    1) Reinstate Personal Plan (which has already been paid for until next year).

    2) Refund the appropriate amount, prorated if needed.

    What is the address of the site you need help with? Was the upgrade purchased from this account you are currently posting from? This thread has been tagged to ask a member of staff if they could assist you. Please be patient as it is the weekend.

    I think the site in question is associated with this account (can be accessed through ‘my site’ –> change site), but there wouldn’t be an active payment at the moment, as it had been cancelled, as described above.

    I have restored your Personal Plan, with the original expiry date before you extended it.

    Please note that automatic renewal is switched off for that plan. You can switch it on by going to https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/ and clicking the Add Payment Method option when you view the individual upgrade.

    It does not work like that, no. You did not buy a new upgrade, you simply extended it. When you cancelled it, you did not cancel only the extension. You cancelled the plan.

    There is no way for you to only partially cancel a plan or to downgrade yourself in a case where, for example, you upgraded from Personal to Premium and then want to go back to Personal. Only staff can help with these types of actions.
