Canceled Subscription and Domain Release?

    I had tried a trial through wordpress for less than 24 hours, which included the domain I wanted. I just canceled it and signed up with a different web host. How long will it be before the domain is released and available again? Just looking for a general time frame…24 hours? 48? 1 week?

    Hi! As long as the registration was very new, it’ll typically be released in about 5 days. If you need it sooner, we have a few options:

    Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice for the domain. Once it’s restored, you will be able to use it with a monthly plan here, or you can point it to another host right away, and transfer after 60 days.

    Purchase an Annual Plan: To host your site here after all, buy an annual plan, skip the domain option, then update us here.
