Canceling a Domain Transfer
-
My co-bloggers and I have decided to make the move to self-hosted WordPress. We chose our host server and initiated the domain transfer with no problem. Now, our website isn’t working properly on the new server. After getting the run-around with that company’s tech support, we’ve decided to cancel the domain transfer and continue with another server.
The company says that they’ve stopped the transfer on their end, but that I have to make sure it’s canceled on WordPress’ end. How do I go about that?
Thanks!

As a note, I know that after the 5 days I should get the email to either confirm or cancel the domain transfer, but I’d rather not wait. I’d like to get my refund from the other server asap.

Here’s the good news:
3chicgeeks.com is set as the primary domain for 3chicgeeks.wordpress.com and will appear in the address bar when you visit the site.
I’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

Hi @Critique Geek,
Are you still having trouble with this? I see you just went through the Guided Transfer and it currently looks like your domain is pointed to your BlueHost hosting. Your domain is still being managed through WordPress.com.
Best,
Jeremey
