Canceling a mapped domain

  Hi!

  I am currently having my own domain mapped to wordpress.com. If I want to point the domain to a different host, is there anything that needs to be done on your side? Or is it just a matter of configuring it at my registrar? The blog will remain with you at the moment (considering to move to a self-hosted one)

  Nope. All you need to do is to change the nameservers through your domain registrars (to point to your new webhost) and wait for the DNS to update. I can cancel the mapping for you. But it really doesn’t do anything once you have made the nameserver change.
