Canceling Akismet

  I am trying to cancel Akismet from my self-hosted WordPress site, but it’s saying I don’t have any WordPress accounts. I went to add my URL, and I still wasn’t able to cancel. Please advise.

  You require a wordpress.COM account to run Akismet.

  How many username accounts do you have? Clear your browser cache and cookies and log in under the correct username account.

  I need to cancel my subscription. You can log in to your account via https://akismet.com/account and click on the cancel my account and my subscription button available to you.

  Thank you for the quick response. I went directly to the akismet site and was able to cancel from there.
