Canceling Auto-Renew and Most Recent Payment

    I didn’t realize my account was on auto-renew. Can I please cancel and get a refund for the payment that posted today? How can I contact a member of WP support?

  • I can help you with that. However, it seems that the issue is that the account you are posting from isn’t the owner of whatever upgrade you were charged for.

    Typically this happens when you end up with a second WordPress.com account somehow. Do you have any information about what website the charge was for?

    If not, you can also use our “why was I charged” system that exists to help sort out these type of situations.

    Thanks, I was able to do a password reset and recover the original account. I’ve successfully cancelled my subscription and received a refund. Thanks for your help.
