Canceling Auto Renew on my Account

  • Unknown's avatar

I received an email message from WordPress.com telling me that my web blog would auto renew on August 14, 2013. My web blog is http://www.kathleenhorner.net. I don’t use this anymore and want to cancel the automatic renewal and keep it inactive, but when I click on “My Upgrades” all I get is a message saying that I don’t subscribe to any plans. I want to cancel this web blog as soon as possible. Please advise. Here’s the message:
    <kathleenhorner.net will be renewed automatically.

kathleenhorner.net is about to be automatically renewed on August 14, 2013.
You will be charged $18.00 for this renewal in 30 days, on August 14, 2013 .
You don’t have to do anything — this is just a reminder.
If you don’t want to renew, you can disable automatic renewal under Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard.>

If you don’t want to renew, you can disable automatic renewal under Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard.

    Have you done that?

P.S. I have tagged this thread for Staff to remove the domain mapping for you.

Thanks for you help. I’m assuming your tag to the Staff re: removing domain mapping should do it.

@kathleenanne: You need to login under the user name that owns the site “kathleenhorner.net” in order to manage the renewals/upgrades in the dashboard for that site.

As such, we are unable to remove upgrades or disable auto renew on an upgrade unless directed by the user that owns the upgrade.

Let me know if you have any questions!
