Canceling Domain

  Hi,

  I would like to cancel my domain name. Is there a way to do that?

  Yes. You must be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog and purchased the domain mapping upgrade to access the blog’s dashboard and cancel at > Store > My Upgrades

  Also, please keep in mind that cancelling (or not renewing) a domain means that you give up ownership of that domain name completely. There’s no guarantee that you will be able to register that domain again in the future, either here at WordPress.com or with another registrar.
