canceling expired domain

  I’d like to cancel my domain at wordpress which recently expired and is in redemption. My goal is to only be dealing with weebly, instead of weebly and wordpress. Will my domain name be immediately available for purchase at weebly after cancelling on wordpress, even though it is in the expiration process?

  Hi there,

  sk8ordiy.org was not registered with WordPress.com, only mapped – so you were only canceling the mapping subscription. WhoIS is stating the the domain is not registered yet, so you should be able to purchase at Weebly. I would hurry before someone purchases right from under you.
