Canceling my domain registration

I just canceled my premium upgrade. Now I would like to know if my domain “herzsonate.com” was simultaneously canceled as well. If not, what do I have to do to cancel my domain registration?

Hi there. If it has been more than 48 hours after you registered the domain staff need to cancel it for you as they’ll need your confirmation to do that. I’ve tagged this thread for staff to follow up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and be patient while waiting.
They are currently experimenting with making the live-chat feature available to more users for one week. If a staff member is available a pop-up window saying “How can I help” should appear on your dashboard, allowing you to contact them directly to help you with this. If you manage to contact staff this way before they answer this thread, please set this thread to resolved and let me know so I can remove the staff tag again.

So i’m going to wait until the wordpress staff will answer this thread as the live-chat is not working – at least not for me ;-)

Your domain wasn’t cancelled along with your plan, but I’ll be happy to help out with that now. :)
Before I go ahead, I want to first make you aware that if you choose to cancel your domain, it may be tricky (and costly) to regain ownership of it. It can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that it will be available to you again once cancelled.
If you want to keep using herzsonate.com but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another registrar. Information on how to do this can be found here:

If you can just confirm that you want to give up full ownership of herzsonate.com, I’ll carry on to cancel it.
