Canceling Paid Plan and Renewing Domain

I started my website on wp.com in 2013 and migrated it to a self-hosted site in 2021(BigScoots). I’ve continued to renew my Creator plan and domain with wp.com every year.
But now that wp.com is no longer my website host, I don’t need a paid plan. I will let it expire in October.
However, I want to renew my domain with wp.com, which is scheduled for December.
My questions:
Do I need to subscribe to one of your paid plans to keep my domain registered at wp.com?
Will canceling my Creator plan remove features like certain plugins, my third-party theme, and other advanced functionalities? What happens to Jet Pack?

Since your site is hosted elsewhere, changes made to it here at WordPress.com will not affect your public site. You can certainly let the plan lapse and only maintain the domain subscription, which will not negatively affect your site. Here is how you can manage those purchases:
