Canceling recently created free domain?

I just registered a new domain, mrdickman.wordpress.com The adventures of Mr. Dickman. I would like to cancel this domain. It is not an upgrade, just a free domain. Thank you. Sorry for an inconvenience.

Provided you are logged in under the Admin username account you can delete any blog registered under that username by using these instructions. http://en.support.wordpress.com/delete-site/
Deleted blog URLs are not recycled here regardless of who created and deleted them and you can confirm by reading: http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/
You may wish to make the blog private instead > http://en.support.wordpress.com/settings/privacy-settings/ -
Thank you timethief, all of this info is very helpful. Another question after reading all this…I would love to keep the domain I just don’t want it connected to my gingrkido account, but I want it to be public. Would you suggest transferring this domain to another account?

To disassociate two blogs registered under the same username account and email address you need to
1. register another username account with a different email address;
2. make that new username account an Admin of the blog you want to transfer;
