Canceling Tumblr import didn't work

    Hi! My Tumblr import was taking a long time without any progress (over 2 days, I think) so I tried to cancel it. But now when I try to click on the “Import this blog” button again, it just tells me “You can only have one running import at a time. Please wait for the current one to complete.” Could this be reset for me so I can try to import again, please?

    WordPress.com is experiencing unusually high volumes of Tumblr imports, leading to delays. This topic is quite popular these days.

    Hi bonehildasims,

    It appears the Tumblr import on your site has failed, so I’ve reset the importer ready for you to try again. Please leave your Tumblr account account connected as disconnecting it could be prevent the import from starting.

    If it seems to take a long time, please be patient and don’t try cancelling the process yourself – we’re still experiencing a high volume of imports from Tumblr at the moment causing a backlog of pending imports in our system. The imports are being run in the order they are submitted, but it could be a few days before your new import is processed.

    If some posts have already imported they will be skipped by the importer during your next attempt, so they should not be duplicated.
