Are you asking if you upgrade to a paid plan? If so most subscriptions can be canceled for a refund within 14 days of purchase or renewal, or 7 days for subscriptions that are billed monthly. This includes the WordPress.com Personal, Premium, Business, and eCommerce plans, Google Workspace, and Professional Email.

If you have a free site (like you do currently), you don’t need to “cancel” the site if you stop blogging after 6 months. Since it’s free, you can keep it for as long as you like without any payments needed. We recommend that you make your site private when you don’t want to have it public – that way if you want to start up again at a later date, you wouldn’t have lost all the posts you made previously.

You do also have the option to delete your site. However, deleting a site permanently removes it and all of its contents and you’ll never be able to re-use its WordPress.com address at a later date. Additionally, Staff have no way to recover any content if you delete it, so you need to be 100% sure you want to do this.

    Hope that clarifies things!
