Cancellare il tag "featured"

Buongiorno, sto creando il blog in versione gratuita con il layout Dyad2 e ho impostato nella home pg gli articoli in evidenza con il tag “featured”. Visto che ne posso far visionare solo sei vorrei cambiarne alcuni sia adesso sia in futuro ma non riesco a cancellare il tag “featured” all’interno dei singoli articoli per dare spazio ad altri…o meglio cancello il tag cliccando su x, poi aggiorno la modifica ma in realtà mi tiene sempre in memoria il tag, ho provato molte volte ma niente. Come posso fare? E’ necessario poter cambiare gli ultimi articoli in evidenza.

Merely clicking on the “x” at Categories & Tags in a post editor doesn’t delete a tag, no. That just removes the tag from the post. You may delete tags as described and illustrated in the Managing Tags in Site Settings section of the Tags support page, and in the Adding and Managing Tags via WP Admin section of the same support page.

Correction: Change “Categories & Tags” above to “the Tags module.”
If your attempts to remove a tag from a post via the Tags module fails, then there might be a browser issue. Some common browser issues are addressed in the Browser Issues support page.

thank you so much for all the answers! I read the links and maybe it’s a browser problem (I use google chrome) or java that I can’t update. I tried to delete cookies, etc but the problem persists. But I ‘solved’ with a trick .. if I delete the tag in the post with x and immediately insert another tag it keeps the update and disappears from the featured articles. -

Glad you found a workaround, but that shouldn’t be necessary. I’ve called for staff attention. Staff might be able to provide an explanation for why your tags don’t stay removed on update, and make appropriate suggestions.

Yeah, there are some tag related issues that is going on with WordPress core that we’re looking into. I wouldn’t be surprised if what you are describing is related to what’s going on here:

However, rest assured that there have seen many reports of tag issues and I’ll make sure that this specific one you are having is addressed as well.

thank you very much to everyone for your kind and fast support and I am glad that this specific tag problem is addressed. I read about the tag problem that disappears, highlighted in the link, but it doesn’t happen to me, even though yes, maybe it could be related to the type of error!
