Cancellation

  I purchased my domain on friday, 30th oct. At the next day I tried to cancel it, because the person who is doing my web told me I had to buy on wordpress.org, so, I had and “pending cancellation” as a status and now I have no idea what happened cause I do not see this status any more and it already passed the 48hour, so I also have no access to the cancellation button. But it was an internal error as I did the cancellation within less than 24 hours after purchasing.

  After canceling it, can I use the same address on wordpress.org??

  I really need an answer and the cancellation to be done asap!

  Your domain is still registered here at WordPress.com

  I wouldn’t recommend canceling it, if you intend to use it elsewhere. If you cancel your domain, there’s no guarantee you’ll be able to register that domain again.

  Your best bet would be to keep it registered here, and simply change your name servers so that it points to your new host.

  You can obtain the proper name server values from your new host.
