Can I get my account cancelled please? The name servers were changed and so it wouldn’t let me delete it online.

Hi there!
I can help. I just want to make sure it’s your domain you want canceled, before I take any action on this. Don’t worry about missing the 2-day deadline. You’ve been in touch with me, and I’ll make sure you receive your refund.
A bit of info for you:
If you want to keep using your meganflemingfitnessmom.com domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can continue using the domain by connecting it to a site hosted with another provider:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/move-domain/
However, if you don’t want this domain at all, I can cancel and remove it from your account for you.
Before I do, you should know that when we cancel a domain, it can take up to several weeks to be released by our registrar.
**We can’t guarantee that you will ever be able to purchase meganflemingfitnessmom.com again once canceled, so please keep this in mind.**
Alternatively, you can keep it until it expires, and simply not renew it after that point. You’ll be given the option to renew or cancel the domain upon expiration.
Let me know how you’d like me to proceed! Thanks much :)

I’m all sorts of confused. I set things up backwards. I would like to keep that domain name. My main goal is to be able to use YOAST with my wordpress. In order to use that I have to have my domain hosted at another site, right?
-
Hi there!
You are absolutely correct! The YOAST plugin is only usable at a self-hosted WordPress.org site.
However, if you want to use the same domain name at your self-hosted site, my suggestion would be to maintain it. You can “point” it at your new web host’s servers, so meganflemingfitnessmom.com is what your visitors will see in their address bars.
Canceling domains is a bit risky, as registrars can be finicky and there’s no guarantee if/when you’ll be able to regain control of the domain.
You are welcome to map your domain to your new host:
en.support.wordpress.com/domains/change-name-servers/We can help if that gets confusing!
Of course, if you DO want to cancel the domain, I’m happy to do that for you. I don’t want to push you in any direction! You tell me what you’d like :)
I hope this helps! If you have any other concerns, drop me a note. Thanks much!

If I don’t get back with you tonight, I apologize. But thank you so much for your help. :)
