    I want my blog cancelled but keep running into the ‘premium upgrades active’ message despite having cancelled everything.

    You have to be logged in as Admin http://en.support.wordpress.com/user-roles/#administrator under the exact same username account that registered the blog to access the blog’s dashboard, cancel an upgrades, claim a refund for any qualified upgrades, and disable auto-renew.

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers. The refund period for Domain Registrations and Renewals is 48 hours.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrade, and you are within the allowed time frame for refunds, you can cancel and request a refund from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades.     Thanks, I’m just getting stuck on not being able, apparently, to remove the blog / account as I need to have access to the domain manager for the domain name? I couldn’t care really, I just want it all deleted and not have the blog set to ‘private’ as I don’t want anybody harassing me about a password etc.

    You currently have 4 premium themes and 3 custom domains associated with your blog. Are you sure you want to cancel everything?

    So that we are on the same page, once you decide to cancel your domain, there is no guarantee that you will be able to reacquire it in the future. Someone else could gain access to it.

    If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

    If you want to hide your site instead, you can use the following guide to make your site private so only you and other members of the site can view it when logged in:

    If you make your site private, you’ll be able to keep your premium themes (which are yours to keep forever) and you can just let your domain subscriptions expire since auto-renew is not enabled. That way if you decide to ever come back to your blog, you will have quite a bit of premium upgrades at your disposal.

    Hi, yes I tried all these links, it’s not working. I’m not going through a particularly happy phase at the moment, I just want this all deleted. Please just have a member of staff delete everything. Thank you. And yes I know about all the consequences etc. I just want it deleted, like yesterday.

    Just to be certain – you have two blogs under your account. Do you just want cindydemichelehockphotography.wordpress.com and the attached upgrades deleted? Or did you want olmurrani.wordpress.com deleted as well.
