  I have been ALL OVER this site and can not find out HOW to cancel my subscription before the renewal date of January 26, 2018. I no longer want this website. WordPress certainly makes it difficult to cancel.

  You should be able to cancel your WordPress.com plan on this page. https://wordpress.com/me/purchases
