Cancellation and Refund

  Hi,
  I’ve just cancelled my premium plan as well as the added feature of a direct email/google subscription. I was told that I’d be refunded x amount of money in total but I was not. There is a remaining balance yet to be refunded. How do I go about doing this?

  Hi @chorillc ,

  You will have to request the refund via Manage Purchases.

  Once you request the refund, it will take 7+ days for it to be posted into your account. For more information on Refunds at WordPress.com please read: https://en.support.wordpress.com/refunds/

  Thank you staff-zinnia for responding. However, I’ve already done that. What I’m trying to ask is if I was promised a certain amount of money and didn’t get that same amount, who or where can I go to for help?

  For instance, the premium plan costs $99 and you can get refunded if you cancel within the first 30 days. However, I didn’t receive all $99 and I’m wondering why.

  As a volunteer I am not able to view any transaction history. Staff will be able to help clarify your refund/billing history.

  I am not sure what happened there, but I have refunded the rest of the amount.

  Please be aware that it can take up to 7-10 business days for refunds to show up on your statement.

  Please let me know if there is anything else I can do for you.

  Yes it is. Thank you very much for helping me out! Awesome customer service. Will be using wordpress.org though instead of wordpress.com which is why I wanted to cancel the plans.
