Cancellation and refund of domain
-
Hi there,
I registered for a wordpress plan a few weeks ago and was automatically assigned a domain name that I didn’t want (I have my own already). I tried to set up the website and realised that it was completely beyond me so I cancelled the plan that I had paid for to get a refund the same day. I just saw on my bank account that the plan was refunded but not the domain name and that because its more than 2 days since I paid for it I can’t now get a refund. This seems incredibly confusing and unfair – since they were paid for together I assumed they would be refunded together. Please help!

Hi –
The domain registrations are only refundable for 48 hours. I see that you purchased sarabayleysite.blog on March 24th and canceled on April 10th.
I can see about processing a late refund for you, but first, I want to confirm that you have no plans of using sarabayleysite.blog in the future? Once we make the full cancelation the domain will be unavailable for you to use for sometime.

Hi Liz,
Thanks so much for replying to my email. Yes I would be so grateful if you could do that. I have my own domain name which Ive been using for years so I absolutely don’t want a wordpress one.
Thanks again, Sara

No problem. The funds should reach you in about ten days. At that time, you will want to talk to your bank about any possible delays on their end.
