Hi there, Staff will reply when they look in on this thread
Just noting here that you should never cancel a domain if you intend to use it, even if it’s somewhere else on the web. If you don’t want to use the domain with a WordPressdotcom site, you can point your newly registered domain’s name servers to your new web hosting until you can transfer it to them after 60 days, or just keep the domain here and continue pointing it to your new site elsewhere.
More info here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/cancel-domain/
Thanks for your patience while Staff get back to you. If you change your mind about the domain cancellation, let us know.

Hi moncherrychocolatebouquets,
The domain cost hasn’t been refunded yet but I can take care of that for you. Before I do, is your plan to use moncherrychocolatebouquets.com on another site or is the domain no longer needed at all? Cancelling a domain means giving up ownership so I just want to double check.
If the domain isn’t needed, I can issue a refund for the remaining amount.

Thanks for confirming, I’ve refunded the remaining amount and there is confirmation of this in your Billing History:
https://wordpress.com/me/purchases/billing
Refunds usually take 5-10 business days to show on statements but international refunds (outside the US) can take a little longer to arrive.
I hope this helps.
