Cancellation of domain connected to WP from GoDaddy

  Hi,
  Thank you whoever decides to answer this. I got a domain with GoDaddy and then connected it to WP because I thought that I would be developing my website here. Anyways, I ended up canceling my WP subscription and I’m not sure if I can also cancel my domain connection, what implications would this have?

  Correct account: Yes

  Hi there,

  Canceling the Domain Connection will just make your domain stop pointing to your WordPress.com site. No worries though, as you’ve already moved your hosting to another provider, this won’t impact your new site at all.
