Cancellation of Free Trial for WordPress Premium

  I have been trying to cancel my free trial of the WordPress Premium Upgrade prior to the beginning of the renewal process many times. I have followed all of the procedures to complete cancellation yet it continues to state “Upgrade not cancelled and refunded. There was a problem refunding your payment. Please contact support.” I would like to cancel the upgrade and be refunded any money that may have been charged. I have emails to prove that I have tried to cancel the upgrade prior to the start of the renewal process.

  Hello there!

  I can cancel the Free Trial for you. You haven’t been charged yet for this premium upgrade.

  Could you let me know if you want the entire upgrade canceled ASAP, or if you’d like to keep the domain registration for erustate.com? If you keep the domain, but cancel the remainder of the upgrade, it will cost $18.

  If you decide to cancel your domain, it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again once canceled.

  If you want to keep using your domain but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > My Domains in your dashboard.

  However, if you don’t want this domain at all, let me know and I’ll take care of this for you. I wanted to have your permission before taking this irreversible action with your domain!

  Dear Thatrobyn,

  I would like to cancel the Premium Upgrade for sure.
  My professional web-designer says she has to use another registrar to set up the web-site and already started the process for the transfer of the domain. If keeping the domain will faciliate and shorten this process rather than distrupting it, I can keep the domain.
  I will appreciate any help on how to shorten, if possible, the waiting time for the domain transfer to another registrar also.
