Cancellation of mapped domain

    I do not required the use of the mapped domain name ‘stab.org.uk’ and so have used the ‘My Upgrades’ cancel option to delete it. The ‘My Domains’ page now displays the original ‘stabclub.wordpress.com’ domain. Will DNS be updated to reflect the original blog name again? Many Thanks Stephen

    Provided you are logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can cancel from your dashboard > Store > My Upgrades
    There is also where you can click the “disable auto-renew” link.

    Hey there,

    You’ve successfully cancelled the domain mapping upgrade, and your site’s URL is now back to the address: http://stabclub.wordpress.com/

    The nameservers of stab.org.uk are still set to point to WordPress.com. In order to point it elsewhere, you will need to login to your domain’s registrar and amend the DNS settings there.
