Cancellation of my account

    I’ve cancelled my premium account with you a few hours ago. But someone has pointed out that if I do that, then I might loose access to WordPress.org thus loosing my website altogether. If by cancelling, I’ll loose my site on .org, PLEASE can you not cancel the account.

    Hi there,

    WordPress.com upgrades have nothing to do with self-hosted sites using the WordPress.org software. The only way cancelling an upgrade with us can affect a self-hosted site, is if you cancelled a domain registered with us that’s connected to a self-hosted site. That’s not the case here.

    The domain you had as part of your Premium Plan, pecuniaconsultancy.com, was only mapped here, not registered. That domain is registered with 123-reg.co.uk and pointing to Hostgator, though there doesn’t appear to be any site connected to it. If your self-hosted site is at Hostgator, please contact them for help in connecting your domain to your site again.
