    I’d be happy to cancel say-acupuncture.com, your WordPress.com Premium Plan, your Premium Theme purchase, and refund all associated charges.

    Before I proceed, there are a few points I need to cover.

    If we cancel your domain, it can take up to several weeks for our domain registrar to release the domain, and we can’t guarantee that your domain will be available to you again, once canceled.

    If you want to keep using your domain, but you don’t want to use WordPress.com anymore, you don’t have to cancel it. Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.

    For more information on using the domain elsewhere, please see:

    http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/domain-management/

    Once you confirm how you’d like to proceed, I will get started processing your transaction :-)

    @sarkisov77

    WordPress.com Premium Themes can’t be used with other hosting providers.

    So, I’ve removed and refunded your WordPress.com Premium Plan and Premium Theme, as requested. Please keep in mind that it takes 1-2 weeks for the transaction to show up on your financial statement.

    If you have any more questions regarding this transaction, let me know :-)

    I have purchased hosting through bluehost.com. I chose to connect the domain say-acupuncture.com to this new hosting site. I don’t think that I’ve properly transferred my domain to this new site, because when I update the files on bluehost I don’t see them updated on say-acupuncture.com. Also, when I view my domain settings on bluehost it says that my domain transfer status is “Locked”.

    What do I need to do next?

    @sarkisov77

    You can point the domain you registered at WordPress.com to another server (hosting service), with these steps:

    Change a Domain’s Name Servers

    You’ll need to obtain the name server values from your current host. You should be able to find them on their support documentation, or contact them and ask for the information. (Name servers may be referred as “nameservers” or “NS records” instead.)

    If you have additional questions, please let us know.

    I followed your instructions “Instead, you can move the domain to another site, using the Domain Administration tool under Store > Domains, at the bottom of the page.” So I checked mark on “Unlock Domain” and disabled Private Registration and I requested transfer code.
    I received email with transfer code but on BlueHost it still shows that my domain id LOCKED. Please advise

    @sarkisov77

    Since you’ve recently registered this domain, you will not be able to transfer it:

    Please note that due to the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) you may not transfer your domain name to a new registrar within the first 60 days after initial registration, or the first 60 days after a transfer.

    https://www.icann.org/resources/pages/name-holder-faqs-2012-02-25-en

    In order to use this domain with a site hosted elsewhere, you will need to follow the instructions I previously provided:

    Change a Domain’s Name Servers

    Let us know if you have any more questions.

    Thank you much for advise I will change the server name. Since I unlocked domain and disabled Private Registration, should I go back and Locked my domain for right now and enabled Private Registration and wait till 60 days expired. if yes would i be able to change server name and still use domain on BlueHost?

    @sarkisov77

    At present, your domain is locked and Private Registration is active.

    If there is anything else you need assistance with, let us know :-)
