I checked the account and noticed that you had auto-renewal enabled for the subscription, which allowed for uninterrupted service by automatically renewing the plan before it expired.
However, the auto-renewal has since been canceled, and I can see that a refund has already been issued. You can see the refund receipt at https://wordpress.com/me/billing
