Hi there,
The account you’re using to post here doesn’t own any sites and has never bought any paid upgrades on WordPress.com. Can you confirm what subscription, and for what site, you’d like to cancel?

Hi. I first signed up to WordPress in July 2020. My colleague did not proceed to do the website. I recently notice that A$672 was deducted again but we did authorise it. How can we get the $ back?

I’m not seeing any upgrades associated with the WordPress.com user account you are posting from. This typically happens when you’ve ended up with a second WordPress.com user account and that second account is the one that owns the upgrade. You’ll need to log into THAT account in order to make any changes.
If you do not have access to that second account, here are a few options:

Hi. When we clicked “View your receipt”, it says “Sorry, we couldn’t find receipt #[redacted by staff]. We did not make any payment to WordPress. We need a refund of the A$672.

Please don’t post any sensitive transaction information, like receipt or transaction IDs, here in the public support forums. I’ve removed the receipt ID from your post above.
We have a receipt with that number in our system, also matching the payment amount you gave here. That payment is for the Business Plan on the site, starlightproperty.com.au, and the site and upgrades belong to the WordPress.com account,
starlightpropertygroupYou’ll need to be logged in as that account to view the receipt online, or to cancel these upgrades.
It sounds like you have the emailed receipt, correct? In that case, try resetting your password (log out of WordPress.com first) using the email address where you received that, or the username,
starlightpropertygroup. Then you can cancel the plan from https://wordpress.com/me/purchasesIf that doesn’t work, you can use the transaction ID appearing on the receipt to verify your account ownership. Once you’ve done that someone will be in touch via email to help you regain access to the correct account.

Are you able to log into the WordPress.com account using the email address where you received that email receipt?

Hi. I can login to the account (starlightproperty and not starlightpropertygroup) but I don’t have the email receipt. The Billing History shows o transactions so far.

The reason the billing history is showing nothing is because you are not signed in to the account that holds the upgrade.
In this case you will need to log in to @starlightpropertygroup and there is no other way around this. If you do not recall how to log in to your other account you can fill out the form here to get assistance from our Account Recovery team: https://wordpress.com/wp-login.php?action=recovery
On that form you will be asked to provide a transaction ID for your purchase, which you can typically find on your credit card statement. More info on how to find that here: https://wordpress.com/support/billing-history/#retrieving-a-transaction-id
Providing your transaction ID on that form is the fastest way to confirm you are the site owner, so please be sure to include it as it will help us to connect you to your other account in the shortest time possible, thanks!
