  What is the refund policy? What happens if I pay for the year and then I decide I don’t want to continue? Can I get a refund? Is it possible to try it out before purchasing? I’ve never created a website and this may not be for me.

  WordPress.com offers both free plans and paid plans.

  If you choose to start with a free plan you can always upgrade later on. The upgraded plans also have the added feature of email and live chat support

  The refunds are time limited depending on your purchase.

  For a new domain there is a 48 hour refund period.

  For plans and other purchases there is a 30 day period.
  If you used the domain credit to register a new domain, the normal cost of registration will be deducted from your refund. If you mapped an existing domain, or never used a domain, you will receive a full refund. There are no refunds, pro-rated or otherwise, after 30 days.
