  I would like to ask how long it will take until the domain I purchased and then cancelled will take to reappear? Kind Regards, Tej

  You registered then cancelled the domain tejstrinkets.co.uk.

  Domains that have been cancelled don’t automatically become available for repurchase right away – there’s a waiting period of anywhere from 5 days to one year before the domain would become available on the open market. This is set by the domain authority and not by WordPress.com and we’re not given any specific information as to when it would be available.

  You would need to keep checking the domain registries to see if you can repurchase it once 5 days have passed. Again, there’s no guarantee that it will be available after 5 days, but that would the be the soonest it would become available.

  If you don’t want to risk losing the domain, you have a couple of options.

  Repurchase the Domain: We can send an invoice and restore the domain. You’ll be able to point it to a new host as soon as it’s restored, then transfer the registration after 60 days.

  Repurchase a Plan: To host your site here after all, buy an annual plan, skip the domain option, then update us here.
