Cancelled domain mapping, now having trouble with website URL

I cancelled domain mapping for surendarcyclestores.wordpress.com.. It was pointing at surendarcyclestores.com (A GoDaddy hosted domain).
Post cancellation of WP domain mapping, I have also changed nameservers on GoDaddy to the default names servers recommended by them. Then I cleared all history and cache of my browser.
Yet, when I load surendarcyclestores.com, it gives an error “Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. “
I also observe that it is still showing favicon from WP blog.Can please help me if I am missing some steps to completely disconnect my website and my blog ?

Hello ishkaran,
The issue you are facing is a DNS (Domain Name System) propagation issue. Changes in domains take time to be updated by various ISP’s.
I just checked out your domain and it shows the ‘website coming soon’ page that you’ve hosted in Godaddy. Which means, your website and your blog have been disconnected. i.e. the WP Domain mapping stands cancelled. :)
To see this for yourself, try logging in to this domain from a different device using a different internet connection.
