Cancelled Domain. Now Domain is stuck with Automatic and I need it Back

  I deleted my website to start fresh. I didn’t realize this deleted the domain too. If I just did it today is there a way to get access to it again? constructionvikings.com

  Hi there: It looks like your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with Bluehost.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, so WordPress.com staff can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.

  You can should reach out to Bluehost for help with this as soon as possible. Since they’re hosting your site’s files, they also have access to those files and are the best ones to help you with this problem.

  Thanks! It says the current registrar is: Automattic Inc.. Isn’t that linked to WordPress?

  Oops! Sorry we missed that. You’re right. It isn’t hosted here but has been registered here, just under another account.

  Right now I see there’s an outbound transfer in progress, awaiting email confirmation. You’ll want to look for that and confirm.
