Cancelled Domain On Accident
-
I accidentally cancelled my domain tonight after it expired yesterday and I need to get it back. The domain still directs me to my website but when I try to repurchase it, it is listed as unavailable.

What domain are you talking about here?
Note that when you cancel a domain on WordPress.com, there is no guarantee that it will be available again for registration either on WordPress.com or other places. There are a lot of factors that determine this, including time since cancelation and you can learn about this here.
Anyway, I have tagged this post with “modlook” for staff’s attention. Once you share which domain you are referring to here, they will have a look at it and assist further.

Hi there,
I’ve managed to restore your domain, but as you also deleted the WordPress.com site to which it was connected, you’ll need to create a new site in your account before you’ll be able to renew it – the domain must be attached to a site for you to access its settings.
Please create a new free site via the link below, and let me know once you’ve done that so I can link your domain. Then you’ll be able to renew it.

Thanks. I’m having a bit of trouble moving the domain to your new site, so I’ve asked a developer for help. I’ll let you know as soon as that’s done, and then you’ll be able to renew the domain.

Okay, your domain is now fully active in your account, and you should be able to renew it from this page:

Thanks for your patience as we fixed this.
